It's going to be another busy day. Fiorella spent a wonderful transatlantic hour on the phone with Friend Suzy, then searched up and down for the options check she'd made out yesterday, finally finding it where she had first looked for it--in Fio's check book.
Remember how Fiorella was so thrilled about about the traveling veterinarian she snagged, thanks to her brother's keen eye? Well, Carol-Lynne has an over-the-ocean fan too. Yes, she had tended to Friend Suzy G's parrot when Suzy was living in the US.
Your girl spent most of the afternoon checking out the new house that, in about a month, she and Sonia Dog will be moving into along with Son L and his family. Fio loved the back yard, which was appropriate for both a large dog and a growing girl, but she has mixed feelings about the house itself. Will keep you posted.
Fiorella hopes to reestablish relationships with old friends when she moves back to Austin, but she also wants to stay in touch with the friends she established in this neck of the woods which would be a lot easier if Covid weren't in full bloom. Hoping the inoculations will be available to her soon.
Congratulate Fio. She's hasn't taken a single bite of chocolate for two whole days.
