Today is officially Dog Day for Fiorella, which means she will be seeking out a kennel that will welcome the sweetest BIG canine in the world. The leading contender for the honor is Bobbi Colorado in South Austin, a location Fio prefers because it's the area she will be living in henceforth, and also because Sonia will only have to make one travel trip before she views her new back yard.
But first, Fiorella will check in with Sonia's vet, who also centers in Austin.
Once her pathway is clear, your girl will return to her old house and pack up all doggie's meds and pills, then locate a car that is large enough to transport 130 lbs of pure love. Then, sooner rather than later, Fio will also be hiring movers to clear out her heavy furniture and the boxes in the garage. Her clothes and shoes should be able to travel in the back seats and trunks of family cars.
But in the meantime, Fiorella is entertaining her granddaughter, who has a propensity for bouncing on beds and pulling pillows onto the floor to play the part of a bridge.
Fiorella is lulling herself to sleep with yet another edition of Midsomer Murders. Please, don't judge her.
