Bad Times and Good

The new owners were out in the front yard when Son L drove Fiorella over to her old house today so they could check up on burst pipes and Sonia Dog. This could have been an uncomfortable situation, but the newbies were taking good care of Doggie and understood that the freak snowstorm was not Fio's fault. It  also helped that Fio and her son could answer questions about the acreage.

Neighbor Michael was also on the scene, and, may God bless him, he's going to be checking on Sonia regularly during the day while Fiorella's purchase of a new house is being finalized.

Because the storm was so bad that Fiorella couldn't stay overnight at her old home, Son drove her back to his in-laws' house where his mother-in-law kindly settled her in an upstairs bedroom. After a short nap, your girl emptied all the bags she'd filled with clothes, etc., from her old home and set up shop. Move forward, Fio. Always move forward.

Son stopped at several places on the way home to pick up food, but the only things he could get were chocolate and some bottled water. Sad.

Wahoo! Fiorella's granddaughter is interested in her. The "sit back and smile" technique is working!
