Orphan of the Storm

The sun is out now and the breeze is charming, as if nature is trying to make up for the blasts it unleashed on Fio's neck of the woods for a long, long week. But your girl will still have to stay in shelter for the time being because her (former) house isn't habitable anymore and her new house hasn't closed yet.

By the way, in case you're wondering, son L has donated a couple of his shirts to Fiorella's wardrobe. In her dash to grab what she could when she was last in the old house, she didn't think about clothes. Also, in case you're wondering about the stickers down Fio's left arm, they are evidence of Granddaughter's Suzy nasciant artistic talent.

Fio is grateful for being sheltered, but she's bored too. Everybody has something to do but her. Hmm....

If British friend Suzy G is reading this blog, please excuse Fiorella for not contacting you at our appointed time this month. Needless to say, Mother Nature had other plans.

Another complication--we're going to have to find a kennel for Sonia Dog that has experience with big dogs.
