It was actually April fourteenth when Fiorella wrote her April 15 blog because she's wasn't sure that she'd be able to use her fingers for a while after her left hand has been operated on in the morning. Wish her well!
One thing that definitely went right for her is that the little pink pill she begged off of Son L this morning had dried up her nose drip. WOW! You can bet your girl decided she going to put a box of those gems on her grocery list the next time around.
How did Fio prepare for the operation, you ask? Well, of course there was the wardrobe--i.e., jeans and a shirt, of course, since it was her hand, not her body that would be worked on. Then your girl had to check off everything on the list supplied by the doctor's nurse--things like which of her morning pills to take and which to leave till the next day. (Hint: the two allowable pills ended up wrapped up in green paper and hanging in from the wall in a place Fio kne she will see them: the bathroom.)
Your girl was first in line for the operation so it was imperative that she arrive on time, which means she had to learn how to set the alarm on her clock so she didn't end up rushing to the front door in her nightgown and begging her driver to "Wait a few minutes" while she scrambled around like a madwoman.
Hope all this makes sense, and please wish Fio well. Carpal tunnel isn't any fun.
