Hi, there! Sorry about the unexpected vacation, but Fiorella was not only in pain from the carpal tunnel, but sick like a dog from something or other that had her sneezing and snorting every other minute. Thankfully, she finally recovered enough this afternoon to make a Cheriot ride to the local heart center for a catch-up. (The young male nurse said she was doing well.)
The highlight of your girl's day was friend Paula's call from Vermont and her description of their visit to New York. All Fio had to talk about was about the unexpected "flu" that had engulfed her.
Fiorella knows the carpal tunnel surgery will hurt, but it would hurt more for her not to have it. She can't spend the rest of her life waking up each morning with her left hand on fire. It's not just when she tries to play the piano, but when she's eating or putting up the laundry, or trying to make her bed, etc.
Total change of subject: let's talk about Easter now. Does anyone out there still dye eggs? Fio being Fio, she also painted eggs. Hmm...wondering where her old Easter paraphernalia are? She hopes they're still in storage and not out in some kind of land fill.
HONK, HONK! What did we ever do without Kleenexes? Your girl has already taken two very full wastebaskets into the back yard trash can.
See you tomorrow!
