Good grief! Fio has just now noticed that yesterday's blog didn't get published till today. It's the gremlins, I tell you!
But now that you have Fiorella's attention, she'll bring you up to date on the very large and difficult painting she started when her kids were about one, two, and eleven--or thereabouts. The hardest thing so far has been to paint a head from one picture into the into the body of another, but after working, working, working, all seems to be well--even the warm gray background that your girl slung onto the canvas,
Has Fio told you that George, the giant white Persian cat, has figured out how to open your girl's bedroom door without knocking?
By the way, your up-to-date girl is wearing an old yellow T-shirt and her new orange-ish shorts today. Yep, you can see her all up and down the street. How's that for style!
Don't tell anyone, but Fiorella is thinking of setting up a table in the front yard and doing some painting out there. Maybe she'll pick up a few customers or, more important, maybe she'll make some neighborhood friends.
German: Sprechen sie Deutsch? (Do you speek German?)
Fio's mother taught her this inquiry when she was a child.
