Your girl is still trying to hitch a ride to church and has decided to ask the pastor to dangle a very nice amount of traveling money in front of the congregation as a lure. We'll see what happens...or doesn't.
Fio took her daily stride around the neighborhood cul-de-sac today and, as she decided to do a while back, sang "Lavenders blue Dilly, dilly, Lavenders green"--which you may remember from your fourth grade class--on the way back. What your girl is hoping will happen is that another musical former fourth grader will join her...and another, and another. Maybe then, we could all sing "Go Tell Aunt Rhody the Old Grey Goose Is Dead" too....and when Christmas draws near, we could go caroling together. Everyone is just too dang solemn around here!
It's eight-of-five in the evening, and Fiorella, in her bare feet, just came in from visiting the the warm, warm outside. Has summer always been that overheated?
Gonna have to go to a real shoe store. Those shoes that your girl bought at Walmart are so uncomfortable that she's running around around the house bare-foot.
GERMAN: Freund means "friend." The "eu" is pronounced "oi").
