Help me! I am obsessed by a comic strip--Luann, to be exact. What is going to happen now that quarterback Kip has sided with his cheerleader girl friend's roommates regarding private visitation rights rather than her? _____________________________________________________________________________________
Fio hopes that Mrs. Sykes, her long-ago piano teacher, knows somehow what a joy those lessons brought to your girl--not just when she was tromping back and forth down Herring Street for lessons, but for the rest of her life. Later, in college, her music background was augmented by a semester or two of Composition, which turned her into a composer, but it would have happened without Mrs. Sykes patient tutoring.
Actually, later on, when Fiorella was married and the family piano sat unused, her mother bought a mail-order Sears music kit and learned to play the piano herself. Yep, music runs in the family, although Mom's talent had been suppressed.

Your girl watched a couple of old movies on TV last night about a female writer/detective (Angela Lansbury), and now she's brimming over with ideas about things she can do to spice up her own books. Zowie!

On a nosy whim, Fiorella looked up her first-grade crush yesterday evening, and HE'S STILL ALIVE...and--uh--so is his wife..........
