This new month is a new day for your girl, and she's making plans up and down the the line. She's planning to sort through her clothes for keep or toss, check out her remaining storage units for the same, get her bed fixed and clothes closet remodeled, locate someone who can help her master the piano's minor scale, and find a local German class. The latter will probably be the hardest because it involves travel, and, as you know, Fiorella is dependent on lifts from Chariot, Son, and Raquel, who are not always available. Never the less--TALLY HO!
Why the German class? you ask. Because German would be the easiest for her. Her mother had known a bit of German and your girl had taken ein semester of it in college. Also, it's the closest to English (same tree). Later on, of course, she would hope to venture into Russian (three semesters) again.
In the meantime, Fio will try to start singing again, something she thought she'd closed the door on (throat surgery) years before. But she just now, while the house was empty, she opened up what was left of her vocal chords and bellowed forth. The sound was still there, but unregulated. Maybe, maybe, maybe she could do something with it.
Whether or not she can do anything with the remains of her voice, her spirit is up and running. In fact, as you can tell, Fiorella is high as a kite right now. Remember her Christmas card and wish her well.
(PS: And, as always, Fio will WRITE every day.)
