Hello, there! Sorry about having to post so late, but your girl was busy, busy, busy all day--not with the things she WANTED to do, but what she HAD to do--like make sure of her weekly ride to H-E-B to buy   food for the coming week.

 Interestingly enough, buying her own food and not being able to drive to a neighborhood store down the hill every other minute has helped her lose a bit of weight. 😊

Did Fiorella tell you that she absolutely adores an old Goldie movie that she discovered about a week ago? Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton are the stars--WHAT A LINE-UP and WHAT A SHOW! Fio has been using it and Goldie's OVERBOARD to lull her to sleep at night---with the sound turned down, of course. 😁

EEEEK! Fiorella suddenly lost track of all of my followers and had to race down the hall to see if Son L could repair whatever damage she had incurred--but it turned out that there is something called a power button that saved the day--- and now your girl knows where it is.

Moira rolled over onto her stomach and watched as the flames snapped and flickered against the dark recess of the fireplace and orange as the yellow arms fought each other, twisting and turning like whirling dervishes. 

This was the very same fire the Neanderthals warmed their caves with, she mused, but it was a different fire--every fire was the same but different--and every fire was beautiful.

Rafe lifted two more logs from the elegant rack beside the fireplace, but this time the greedy flames seemed to reach for him. He stepped back quickly and put up the screen, then turned to Moira.

"This should take care of us for the evening."
