Wow! We're almost up to Halloween! Can't help but think of the basement parties that Mother put together for the neighborhood kids when when we lived in Ohio and the home-made costumes when we moved to Texas.
Fio took another walk around the cul-de sac today, but no one else did...where she lives, it's rare if anyone walks. Hmm....Fiorella's giant painting is coming along, but--oh--so slowly. Besides, she's lost her best red paint stick so it's a good thing that she didn't promise anything to anyone at a certain time.
You may be able to tell, but your girl is really down. She wants friends, people to talk with, not just the cat.

She'd exploded for him like a powder keg last Friday, and he wanted more of the same, but this time he wanted in on it.
He took her in his arms, and she mioved her head against his shoulders and closed her eyes. Electricity shimmered in the air between them. He kissed her and played with her lips and exploring her mouth, then moved her toward the daybed in the corner of the room. Her knees bent by reflex against the edge of the chair and they sank together on the soft cushions. The smell of sex was in the air.....
