Your girl has been going through diaries from long ago lately to find interesting information from her past, like that at one time, she was afraid of becoming a bag lady. In fact, the possibility became such a lurking specter that she sometimes considered rushing to embrace her fate.
Fiorella's major motivation in life is to live as opposed to dying. Physically, she wants to live forever--or at least as long as possible. She also wants her name, work, and influence on her children to survive.
Bodies are odd. Because they are our vehicles, people identify them as as being us, but Fio, for one, is always amazed when she checks herself out in the mirror: THAT ISN'T WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE! Wouldn't it be better if people could see others inner selves?
Does anyone else think and dream and feel? What if I am the only one? Will the world disappear if Fiorella longer exists?
