Fio is riding high--totally inspired by a phone call from friend Paula. Not only was it a stimulating conversation, but it made Fiorella think about adding to those short stories she wrote long, long ago. Yep, when it comes to writing, your girl has played around with almost everything.
It's very cold in Austin today. quite a drop from yesterday's weather, but nowhere near what trapped Fio in her house for four days so that she had to go into shelter for two months. Fiorella apologizes that she keeps referring back to that time, but it changed her life, and she's still in recovery.
That new refrigerator in her studio is your girl's pride and joy. She'll be storing two gallons of milk in it at all times, a fair amount of chocolate, a box of butter, andalso a few carrots and celery. As a plus, on top of the fridge rides two long loaves of bread so she can have one of her favorite lunches--bread and butter. Oh, she should also say that the freezer shelf also has room for a nice steak or two. Yum!
There's nothing like visiting your favorite doctor, the one who can not only give you the shots in the neck, but also give you advice about other problems, like finding someone to stay with her nights when Son and his Wife will be on vacation.
Today is Fiorella's mother-in-law's birthday, may her memory be always blessed. 💗
