Is Trump deliberately sabotaging himself to get out of being stuck with the Presidency? Or is he testing his fans' loyalty by going as far as he can go a la the "shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue" comment?
There must be an old Greek legend about someone who fed a monster day after day and eventually got eaten by it. That's exactly what's going on with Trump. He thinks coming up with ever more outrageous comments will lift his poll numbers. but instead, people are fleeing from him in droves. It's self-immolation.
