Independent Thinking

Too many people follow the roar of the crowd instead of thinking for themselves, resulting in such atrocities as lynch mobs, Jim Jones, and the deaths of millions of lemmings.  Of course, it's scary to think for oneself--one can always be wrong, or, like Galileo, one can end up as the target of the roar.

Fio may be foolhardy and she may be wrong, but she is not a lemming.
