Your girl spent most of her day cutting open boxes and hauling out remnants of her life. They're sitting in bunches on her studio floor right now, with more of the same tomorrow. She's already spotted some of her favorite books and a good helping of her own stuff, but she's guessing that the major stuff will show up in her second go-through tomorrow.
One of her best discoveries today was a herd of sequined slippers she used to wear. Actually, Fiorella had forgotten about them because they were some of the first things she'd packed when she decided to sell the house and set up housekeeping with Son L and his family.
Can hardly wait to get that wall calendar that Son L ordered. So tired of not knowing what day it is--except for Sunday, of course, because of the full-color comics.
Fio also got a thrill out of rediscovering out some of her minor paintings and she's planning to hang them on her bedroom wall for inspiration. Hmm...maybe she'll repaint the bedroom wall too. Ah--your girl is starting to come into. her own again!
Of course, the best thing is that she's almost up to her second Covid inoculation's two week mark!
