Art, Literature, Buttercups, British TV, Chocolate

Son L and Daughter picked up some of Fiorella's paintings from storage today, and she's planning how to display them to their best advantage. Fio is flattered that Daughter, also an artist, wants some of them too, but Fio gets first dibs. And maybe, somewhere along the line, your girl will inspired to turn out a few additional masterpieces

Fio's romances and poetry are dribbling in from her storage boxes now, as is her library of linguistic studies. Somewhere along the line, her music studies will also be turn up....she hopes.

Granddaughter invited the next-door neighbor girls in to play in the backyard, and they spent most of their time picking buttercups, which sounded like a good deal until they asked for cups to put the flowers in--and not just any cup but a red one like Granddaughter was sporting. Luckily, Fio had others for back-up. Thank you, HEB!

Now that Doc Martin is off for the season, Fiorella is checking out British TV series. The new Midsomer Murders is a wash-out and the new Miss Fisher is stupid. The Vicar of Dibley, a comedy, is okay, but it gets a little too silly sometimes. On the other hand, no one is killed.

Fio couldn't sleep last night because she's eaten a giant chocolate bar and, because she did the same thing today, she'll probably be equally sleep-deprived again tomorrow. Unfortunately, she's fallen into the habit of running for chocolate whenever anything troubles her.
