Woke up to a very cold day, adjusted both of the thermostats, and searched out where the cold air was coming from--the fireplace. Nothing to do but sling a serape around myself and venture into the cold, cold garage to grab a square of wood to put across the fireplace, then cook a cup of hot chocolate like Mom would do on cold mornings.
Everything is moving along on the house sale. The missing irrigation system has been found and the crooked roofers have been routed by SafeCo. Also, as it it turned out, the missing receipts were not missing because of Fio's negligence, but because the ladies in the various offices were, like your girl, still in the dark ages when it came to technology.
The house hunting is not going as well. Fio and Son L drove around the outskirts of Austin to look at neighborhoods and Fio saw some nice places, but the floor plan is what she really needs to see.
Whoopie! Friend Janece suggested a DUPLEX, which just might fill the bill, if we can find a nice one.
Fiorella is back on packing duty again. Luckily, she overbought on boxes last time around and even put them together because she knew there was more to come--like Fio's and Husband's grandmothers' full sets of Lemoge china.
