The cedars struck back. Fiorella was out in the south woods, trimming a path down to the meadow, when a cedar branch she was holding for imminent demolition snapped her right eye, which left her vision blurred because she has macular scarring in her her left eye.
Fio was concerned about the possibility of a corneal scratch so Husband drove her to the local emergency room, where her eye was washed out and examined. No scratch. No injury. Fio had survived the mighty cedar.
Now to rev up her chain saw, march back out there, and bring that sucker down.
