Calves are born into a world of sweet grass, warm milk, and bovine devotion. We protect them form predators, inoculate them against diseases, and supply nutrients necessary to their well-being. Then, when they're at their prime, we kill them and eat them.
We die, our bodies nourish the earth, the earth grows grass to feed the cows, and the cycle starts all over again. We are all fodder.
