THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO PUBLISH YESTERDAY

Fiorella is up'n-at'em again, but she needs a hammer and a nail to hang one of her many self portraits onto the wall of her arts-and-crafts studio. She had an excess of tools in her old house that would have done the trick, but apparently, said tools haven't made it to the new house yet. And if you're wondering why Fio has so many self-portraits lying around, it's because the bathroom mirror was usually the only model available that didn't charge. (Yes, even her kids made her pay.)

Your girl is happy to announce that she has completed the basic decoration of the large window on the side of her bedroom. Framed in gold ovals by Fio's mother, your girl's maternal great-grandfather and great-grandmother top the window with Mother's matching cross-stitch in a oval floral frame between them. Down each side of the window, Fiorella has paraded people and places that have been important to her, plus more of Mother's cross-stitch.

Remember when Fio used to tromp the woods daily with Sonia Dog? Preparing for the move killed that habit, of course, but Fiorella has recently--and in a small way and without Doggie, who has not adapted well to in-town living-- stared  walking around the neighborhood. She enjoys the birds and the solitude.

Your girl's assignment is to go through family photos right now--HEAPS of photos--and tears of memory are overwhelming her. Her children were so young, and so were she and Husband. Will these photos mean anything to her children and grandchild

WARNING! Fiorella is the kind of person who stays in touch with her friends, even if they move far away.
