Adventure Strikes Again

Fiorella walked two blocks up around the corner this afternoon and deposited the family's outgoing mail into Louis deJoy's hungry mail mouth. Wonder how long it will take for everything to reach its destination.

Your girl is getting giddy. That shopping expedition with Daughter really turned her on and she is actually considering replacing some of her old jeans and shorts with clothes that fit her. Yes, wonder of wonders, Fio has actually lost some weight.

Your girl is fooling around with a design for a clever step-up that she plans to display on the inside of the entry to her studio. Her favorite rocks will be on the bottom rung and the top rung will display the sea shells entrusted to her by Husband's Aunt Ethelyn, and Fio's heart will break a little each time she sees them. Sweet, clueless Ethelyn deserved so much more out of life than she received.

Fiorella washed her own clothes today, which was half elation and half irritation. WHY THE HECK DO "THEY" MAKE MACHINES SO BIG THAT FIO HAS TO STAND ON HER TIPPY-TOES TO EMPTY THE DRIER? (If she used a stool, she'd probably fall in the machine like one of her favorite TV "little people" did.)

Bellyaching to the side, Fio feels pretty dang good. There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel again.
