STILL A LITTLE WOBBLE

Fiorella had a hard time this morning. The driver, whom she had thought would take her to church and guide her through the service, didn't show--despite your girl getting nicely dressed up and putting a healthy check inside her purse.

Maybe it was because Fio hadn't had church clothes on the first time around, or maybe it was because your girl had been away from the hymns/music so long that she couldn't remember it all.  Whatever, her church-appointed driver told Fio that she would drive your girl to church every fourth Sunday.

But the woman didn't even appear....and Fiorella, who'd been eagerly antisipating rejoining the congregation, slipped down on her own wet grass and jarred her head.

Luckily, a neighbor driving slowly down the street, saw your girl wavering, and escorted her to her own home where she and her daughter gave Fio water and encouraged her to rest a little and tell all.

Fiorella is still a bit battered and will tread lightly from now own when the lawn is wet. She'll also give a special thank-you to God and her own lovely and alert neighbors.

Your girl hopes she herself will have a bigger bedroom sooner or later. The only time she's had a room this small was when she and her roommate, Mary Ann, shared their fresh year in the Littlefield Dorm at the University of Texas. (Is the dorm still there?)

For some reason or other, Fio keeps putting off working on her big 4x5 foot painting of the family, but she'll take care of it some time or other.

WARNING FOR CHRISTMAS!

Guess whose gathering together as much of her Christmas poetry, songs, pictures, etc., from years past as possible!
