Working, Working, Working

God bless the patient and dedicated ladies of Fiorella's past generations who labeled family photographs and put them in albums, and shame on Fio because she didn't do either and now has to go through piles of photos and try to make sense of everything and everyone..

Just found a picture of Son L on the hospital scales right after he was born--all eleven pounds, seven ounces of him. He was a C-section, almost two weeks, and the staff whisked him away from your girl the second they knife him out of her. God bless modern medicineđź’—

Also found several back-and-forth letters from a distant aunt whom your girl had never met. She was living in a resthome and sent me a picture that she had colored with every letter she sent to me.  I frequently used her pictures for decoration during holidays so she would not be forgotten, and I missed those letters when she passed on.

Regarding her shoulder, Fiorella has decided to be her own doctor and fight the pain with more pain. Thus, if her shoulder hurts, she sweeps her arm back, which makes it hurt more, and when it stops hurting, Fio stops moving her arm, and all is well. Try it!

Fio is making a list of the things she needs to do or have done in the house. One thing she's especially anxious to learn to do is reach her friend in England by elephone.
