Fio spent about half an hour at the piano this afternoon, but didn't make much progress with John Thompson's "Starlight Waltz," one of childhood recital pieces. Ah well--maybe she'll do better this evening. It would probably help if she could find a local teacher, but such does not seem to exist in her neck of the woods--maybe because guitars are more popular these days.
Have to add that it didn't help when her carpal tunnel flared up again.....
Remember the political diatribe your girl posted a few days back? Well, it must have used up all her energy because, ever since, she's been turning off the TV in her bedroom whenever political discussions are in progress. Let's face it---she's scared. The countries of the world are in a delicate balance and what if the wrong people get elected and allow Putin to usurp Ukraine? And then, there's China, always hungry....
