Depression

I'm horribly depressed today

And don't have anything to say--

All I do is sniff and cry,

Wipe my eyes, and wonder why--

I've always tried to be upbeat

With everyone I know or meet,

And in bad times, to share their sorrow,

And pray for them a fresh tomorrow--

So why is it that, when I'm low as can be

 There's no one around to comfort me?

I found one of the Christmas carols which I composed a while back, which added even more tears.
