Political Prediction

Fiorella is fascinated by the rhythm of the Democratic campaign. You can't tell her that Hillary's people haven't spent months amassing a treasure chest of goodies about Trump for release at set intervals--like just before a debate. And Fio suspects there will be two more reveals to come, at least one of them about Trump's purported drug habit. (Spoiler alert: look up "Trumps' drug dealer" on Google.)

Energized

Good morning America!  Fiorella woke up totally energized by the Democratic convention.  No more doom. No more gloom. We are strong, we hang together, and we will overcome!

Fiorella had horrible nightmares after the Republican convention, but slept like a baby last night.  The country will be in good hands--the many hands of forward-looking people working together, not the two hands of an egotistical loudmouth whose major occupation seems to be tweeting vicious insults all night long.

God bless America, and God bless Hillary Clinton.

Holiday Hysteria

Each political party has its loons--the Republicans have Trump and the Democrats have Sanders. Trump bellows and Sanders froths. Fiorella hopes they'll both give it a rest for the next two weeks, and let us all enjoy the holidays, although Fio's life is still wrought.  She hasn't received the financial settlement yet in re the scamming handyman, and that home refinancing, which was signed sealed, and delivered weeks ago, is still rearing its ugly head in the form of a letter claiming she hadn't submitted proof of insurance, which she darn well had, but now Fio can't find a copy of the letter or the insurance declaration page.  In fact, in the pre-Christmas melee, it's hard for her to find anything.

Ah, well. There's always chocolate.

Gubernatorial Election Considerations

Fiorella is opposed to abortion, but she does not think it should be a political football. She resents both parties drawing the line, Republicans trying to round up votes by campaigning against abortion and Democrats trying to round up votes by calling it a women's issue.  Fio will vote the Democratic ticket because she wants Texas to have a strong TWO-party system, not because Wendy Davis won her over by being pro-abortion.
