Realities

Excuse Fiorella for coughing, choke, sneeze, but the ant exterminator is treating all the rooms this afternoon.....

Fio is flattered that various people have said they'd like her to start painting again, but she's also a bit nervous. Do they really mean it? Is there actually a market out there for oils and acrylics?

There may be a battle royale between her doctor and Fiorella, Apparently he has not gotten the word that neither she nor her son can bring themselves to stick a needle in their arms, bellies, or whatever. Wish us well. (To be continued.)

Your girl is beginning to think that "thwarted" should be her middle name. All those nice set-ups for older people that you read about--the activity centers and such? Take it from Fio that every one of them depends on having someone living with you who has oodles of free time and can be available to transport you back and forth from the doorstep at the snap of your fingers.

No problem, you say, because there are also organizations that provide free transport. But, believe Fiorella, the reality is that you have to plan your jaunt for a week or more ahead--and if  you need to get to the bank or the grocery store right now--or even a week from now, you're out of luck.
