Fiorella's speech pathologist has advised her to improve her posture and keep her chin up, which is hard to do when Fio is always on the look-out for scorpions in the house and pretty stones in the driveway.

In a desperate attempt to reduce the mountain range of cedar mulch in the north yard, Fio is advertising it as a give-away in the neighborhood garage sale. She'll let you know if she has any takers.

Sweet Sonia is going to be taking private instruction at PetsMart to curb her aggression toward other dogs. Fio can't figure out what's going on. Remember, Baby Dog received an award as "Miss Congeniality" from her puppy training class a year ago. Maybe it's teen-age rebellion setting in.

GOOD Morning!
It's going to be a good day. Fiorella's hand has healed enough that she's been able to cut down on pain pills and is now using her usual three fingers instead of just one finger to type. Also, she can brush her teeth, an impossible task when her right hand looked like a ripe tomato.
Also, over the weekend, she, Husband, and Son cut and hauled a lot of cedar, a mandatory operation because the propane truck couldn't get down the driveway last month. And Husband, on his own initiative, cleaned up a good portion of the garage. And Fio reviewed the first eleven chapters of Honeysuckle Dreams, smoothed out some bumps in the road, then added in a new thread that strengthens that whole story.
All is well in FiorellaLand.

Boondock Activity
Pepe le Pew has been visiting Fio's neck of the woods a lot lately. It seems like every time she steps outside her front door, she's been greeted by the odiferous evidence of his presence. Must be getting near mating season.
*
Speaking of the seasons, Fio loves to watch the new calves capering around while their mothers lie in the grass, soaking up the sun. The babies literally kick up their heels.
*
Fiorella has gotten more energetic lately too. In fact, yesterday afternoon she spent a couple of hours hauling away the cedar that Husband had chainsawed. It's all in a huge pile in front of the house now. Anyone want to cart it to the dump for her?
