Is It Christmastide Already?

This dull, rainy Sunday has not been good for your girl. She added only two new pieces to her jigsaw puzzle, messed up even the easiest of her piano pieces, realized--after spending a couple of hours staring at the house across the street--that there was no way she could  come up with a satisfactory Christmas design for the front of her home, and then had to get Son L's help to open up her computer after she'd briefly closed it.

The good news is that Fio's throat seems to be clearing....for now. Pray for her that she'll be able to hit an easy F again. Yep, your girl likes those high notes. (At one time, she even had a G.)

Hooray! The pre-cooked half-turkey that Fiorella bought for herself just before Thanksgiving is now history with no help whatsoever--yum! Wonder what meat your girl try next?

One thing Fio's doing religiously is sniffing at her milk jugs very carefully because both Son L and she overbought a while back and Fio doesn't want any sour milk ruining the pudding.

Truth to tell, Christmas hasn't really sunk in with Fio yet. It's Texas, so there's no snow and the little girls in our neck of the neighborhood are still running across the street with no shoes on. Another indication is that there's no one singing at the door.

Speaking of, your girl would love to go caroling again. Hmm, wonder if she could get a local group going? Any volunteers?
