Expensive Junk down the Drain?

Fiorella has been going through her old jewelry this afternoon, and there's tons of it from her childhood on. Whoever dreamed she'd end up with a collections of so many gold necklaces, all of them still sparkling and begging to be worn? Fio does her best to oblige them, of course, but then the silver necklaces get into the fray and she's...uh...weighed down.

Does Fiorella like jewelry, you ask? OF COURSE, SHE DOES--even though storage and display is a problem. What is an even more of a problem, though, is figuring out what to do with the non-metal awards from kindergarten up to Phi Beta Kappa, all of which your girl treasure.

Then there are then the booties that Mother crocheted whenever a friend of hers had a baby, and Dad's golf clubs, and the piles of photos of Fiorella's childhood homes, then of her own homes and children. And, of course, there's that whole front room of her current home that she's loaded with her art, writing, and foreign languages which--for shame--she hasn't kept up with.

NOTICE--This has not been the best day for her girl so she's closing the barn door early today.

As always, please pray for her.
