Always Moving Forward

Your girl has entered into yet another stage, which means, of course, that her last stage is out the window, which means that she's a mess again, but that's the way it goes. Translation: she's tossed most of her age-old sheets, pillow cases, etc., but has yet to buy new ones. After all, she's on the brink of getting her bed fixed....and maybe even doing away with that wainscotting that bars her side tables from facing front.

Fio's also on the brink about her hand surgery. Strangely, Tylenol, as prescribed by her hand doctor, has helped lot, but even though Fiorella can (sort of) play the piano again, her left hand is not up to par and sudden jolts go through it every now and then.

In the meantime, your girl has three more doctor appointments this month--so far. Her favorite will be with her neurologist, an old pal from times past who has a great sense of humor. The second one is her mild-mannered heart doctor, whom she is growing to like more and more each visit. The third one is a newbie who will be preparing her for knee surgery in June. Yep, doctoring is a lot more complicated than it used to be.

Needless to say, all of this--the demolition and repairing, the visits to doctors--is aimed at a purpose. Not only does Fio want her home to be comfortable and attractive, but she wants to be in good enough shape to enjoy it....for a  l-o-n-g  time. And if she doesn't, she'll start all over again.😊
