This and That, Not That Much Fat

Your girl is closing in on those varmints who keep telling her that she's behind in her credit card payments. Yep, Fio  spent half her afternoon plowing through her checkbook and making notes. Sic'm, Fiorella!

In between times, Fiorella was lugging boxes of the most recent storage delivery out of the garage and into the already over-flowing parlor and the arts-and-crafts room. Then--she'll confess it--she watched another Martin Cluves show on TV.

A Girl of the Limberlost, the book Fio mentioned yesterday, was published in 1909, but Fiorella's edition was a Christmas present when she was in seventh grade. Later on, she read her mother's books--romantic best sellers, which, looking back, were questionable literature for a budding teenager.

Your girl wants to make a fabric shoe rack that can hang harmlessly from the inside of her closet door and hold nine pairs of shoes--maybe even twelve. The rack itself would have to be enforced by a rod, of course, but the weight of the shoes would keep the pouches from flapping.

Now, if you'll excuse her, Fio will get ready for bed, turn out the lights, and check out yet another Martin Clunes movie she's found.
