The Writer LIfe

Writers don't sit around and talk about writing.  They don't put off writing until they've made a thorough study of the process. They write.

When Fio was growing up, she would immerse herself in reading and not realize hours and hours had passed.  Now she immerses herself in writing and has the same experience.
*
Ulterior motives lurk in Fiorella's novels.  She's told you before--she wants to uplift people, to inspire them to find their better selves.  (With a good helping of sizzle mixed in, of course, because that's what makes the world go 'round.)

Fio's Enlightenments While Driving

The recent raw weather dug a couple of big potholes in Hwy 29.  Now Fio knows why tires are made of rubber.

Do not put off till tomorrow what you can sneak under the wire today.
*
A woman is a perpetual motion machine, or at least Fiorella is.
*
Fio's writing career has taken over not only her life, but the doors of her pantry and kitchen cabinets,
*
Be active, do good, let death unterrupt you, not proceed you.

Lost and Found

The time has come, the Walrus said, for Fio to clean up her desk. And the stack of papers on the coffee table. And the pile of miscellany beside her on the couch. You guessed it--Fiorella has lost an Important Paper, and she knows it's SOMEWHERE. So Fio will clean up her act.

But not today.
