Fiorella leaps in where others fear to tread. Not because she's brave--because she's dumb. She should have been born with a muzzle on her mouth and a ball and chain around her ankle. If there's a wrong thing to be said, she says it. If there's something that shouldn't be done, she does it. And all with the best of intentions.
Actually, Fio prefers to let what she writes or paints speak for her, but--let's face it--whatever she produces in whatever medium is just as "different" as she is.
And, yes, she knows she shouldn't have written this blog, but confession is part of her messed-up psyche. Forgive her, move on, and have a nice day.

Marching On
Fiorella is a well-meaning soul, but she's said and done some of the dumbest things imaginable, and at random times, voices of the past echo in her brain, assaulting her, accusing her, deriding her. But there's nothing Fio can do to heal the past so she forges on, resigned to the fact that she's going to say dumb things and do dumb things in the future too. That's Fio. Forgive her.

A New Start
Fiorella was devastated by a friend's betrayal last summer. She mourned for their relationship, searched her conscience for whatever she herself might have done wrong, and agonized over what Former Friend might be saying about her.
But it was all for the best. FF was wonderfully invigorating--always laughing, always full of wicked humor, snide. and snark, but, ultimately, she was a bad influence. Friends frequently echo each other, and Fiorella adopted FF's style. Then Fio felt guilty, a reaction FF did not understand.
Fiorella now wishes she had paid more attention to her conscience and less to being clever, which she promises she will do in the future.

Sins of the Classroom
Fiorella should have been born Catholic because she is so determined to confess her sins. It's the only way she can clear her brain of running and rerunning them.
Which brings us to the fact that she mis-taught the spelling of "harass" as "harrass" while she was in the classroom, not realizing her mistake when Google corrected her. Also, she misspelled "renown" as "reknown," and she incorrectly insisted that "iota"--which she did spell correctly--existed only in the singular.
Fio's mother, the spelling champion of Summit Township, must have been twirling in her grave.
